IT Infrastructure Specialist

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting  

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT-related issues and requests (hardware, software, printers, network).  
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly via in-person, phone, or remote assistance.  
• Set up, install, and configure new computers, software, and hardware for employees, for operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common business applications (Microsoft oriented.)  
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and inventory changes. 

2. Infrastructure Management  

• Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, virtualization technologies like VMware/Hyper-V). 
• Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points. 
• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Azure AD, and M365 security features. 
• Deploy, and manage cloud resources and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) ensuring cost-effectiveness, security, and performance. 
• Integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure components supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. 
• Implement and manage data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. 
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues. 

3. Security & Compliance Support  

• Implement IT security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry’s best practices. 

4. Vendor Management 

• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and cloud services. 

5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and support IT needs across departments.  
• Recommend improvements in processes, documentation, and system efficiency based on recurring issues and feedback. 

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. 
• 2-3 years of experience in technical support/ IT Infrastructure role. 
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office suite. 
• Demonstrable knowledge of M365 administration and user support. 
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience supporting cloud-based applications are a plus 
• Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems from an end-user support perspective. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Network+ or Microsoft certifications are a plus. 
• Relevant certifications highly desirable (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions, Architect Expert, M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CompTIA Security+, CCNA).
