Sourcing Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing activities for assigned areas and products, optimizing the supplier pool.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and sourcing requests.
• Provide detailed presentations on factories, including capabilities, key clients, and essential insights for buyers and designers.
• Frequently visit factories to assess their skills, standards, and product styles.
• Propose competitive sourcing solutions and send offers to buying and design teams in line with company trends and sourcing needs.
• Drive project development with the Quality Engineer (QE), review silver seal samples, and coordinate with factories, design, and quality teams for effective product engineering.
• Monitor and track sample shipments, verifying all information before dispatch.
• Organize and attend business trips with buyers, providing detailed reports to the sourcing office and buyers.
• Coordinate audits and test requirements with the quality team, informing suppliers in advance.
• Introduce and monitor compliance with annual contracts (PAF, COPA), payment terms, after-sales, and general procedures.
• Maintain and update weekly tracking files for sourcing projects, sample development, and buyer confirmations.

Order Confirmation & Production Follow-up:

• Oversee the entire order process from confirmation to shipment, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Train and support suppliers to understand and adhere to Alinea’s rules and processes.
• Collaborate with the QE team in China to initiate compulsory tests, collect existing reports, and validate specifications on time.
• Monitor inspection dates, review third-party inspection reports, and release shipments accordingly.
• Ensure timely validation and signing of annual supplier contracts.
• Negotiate target prices, MOQs, penalties, and lead times with suppliers.
• Work closely with the procurement team in France to create loading plans, validate POs, and manage ETDs.
• Serve as the key contact for suppliers, buyers, and logistics teams in France and China, ensuring seamless communication and timely updates.
• Support assistant buyers with artwork validation and train suppliers on packaging guidelines.
• Ensure on-time shipments and accurate ETD reporting in SCA.

• Passionate, motivated, and positive team player.
• College or Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT) and ETD systems.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a merchandiser in the indoor & outdoor furniture sector.
• Strong teamwork skills with Chinese and French teams.
• Multi-tasking, solution-oriented, and ready to take on challenges.
