The QA Manager is responsible for: 1) ensuring that sourced products comply with company’s specifications and the safety requirements of the distribution market 2) ensuring that sourced factories comply with Code of Conduct and facility requirements (Quality management system and plant sanitization).  

Jojb Descriptions

- Manage the QA process for purchased finished product. Partner with Sourcing and Supply Chain to ensure that sourced products meet specifications which cover both product compliance & quality. Network externally to identify and implement best practices for supplier quality.

- Manage the supplier qualification and management program, including quality management, microbial management and retailer program.  

- Provide input on the quality assurance plan for new products to the development team. Identify product quality risks throughout the product development process and communicate with product development team

- Provide input to engineering through new processes, product qualification at sourced supplier. 

- Negotiate and resolve issues with supplier leadership. Effectively communicate product quality requirements to factory management/labor. Lead structured problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions in response to supplier quality issues.

- Provide coaching and guidance to manage suppliers on quality system development, tier 2 supplier development, problem solving, production test plans, in process QA/QC, regulatory testing and company product technical requirements.

- Monitor & develop QA capabilities

Decision Making Capabilities 

- What processes do we need in place to ensure continued compliance to US law and customer requirements?

- What process do we need to monitor and address sourced finished product and vendor quality issues?

- Determines the compliance of raw materials, work-in-process, and/or finished goods to established component/product specifications.

- Determines the appropriate test methods to confirm sourced products perform as intended.

- B.S. degree required in an engineering discipline preferred.

- 5 years experience in quality assurance/manufacturing environment at manager level.

- Proficient in use of statistical analysis tools.

- Ability to interpret testing procedures and develop test reports based on findings.

- Good written, oral and problem-solving abilities required.

- Fluently English.

- Fluent Vietnamese.

- Chinese is preferred.
