Quality and Development Engineering

1. Quality Assurance & Testing Management 

• Manage testing requests, test report receipt, and data analysis. 
• Provide QA input during product development and generate safety, reliability, and performance specifications. 
• Support factories in developing and maintaining a comprehensive test database. 
• Partner with external service providers for laboratory testing and monitor their performance. 
• Manage safety-related projects initiated by customers. 

2. Factory Audits, Compliance & Quality Control 

• Conduct product, chemical, and factory audits in manufacturing facilities. 
• Conduct pre-production meetings and factory audits to ensure all requirements, materials, and components are fully understood and compliant. 
• Manage in-line and final product inspections to ensure customer quality standards are met. 
• Conduct defect analysis, investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions. 
• Coordinate supplier quality management, including preventive and corrective actions. 

3. Production & Order Management 

• Manage orders from sample development to final shipment. 
• Follow up on samples and ensure samples and projects are delivered on time. 
• Work closely with factory supervisors and Business teams to ensure timely shipment coordination. 
• Identify and resolve technical and quality-related issues throughout the production process. 

4. Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Clearly understand customer requirements across different markets. 
• Identify and select appropriate suppliers based on customer demands and compliance needs. 
• Provide quality-related advice to merchandisers, including acceptable tolerances and rational quality objectives. 
• Host overseas teams and customers during business trips and factory visits. 

5. Team Leadership & Quality Function Management 

• Lead and manage a team of specialists to support business expansion in a global environment. 
• Oversee, provide leadership for, and coordinate all quality-related activities within the plant. 

6. Other Responsibilities 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 
• Job requires frequent visits to suppliers and participation in domestic and overseas business trips. 

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering related discipline preferred. 
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience
• Strong product and material knowledge with good product safety requirements 
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded 
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties 
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Able to manage multiple tasks environment 
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. 
• Knowing French language will be a plus. 
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
