The incumbent will provide supervisory leadership for inspection, testing, and quality support activities across assigned product categories and suppliers. Oversees team coordination, audit support, and quality performance to help ensure our products meet established quality, compliance, and scheduling requirements. Monitor and support suppliers’ continuous improvement in inspection and testing performance. This role may need to support inspection while in peak season.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead Asia quality team including Quality Specialists and Quality Operations Planner as well as third-party providers to support inspection and testing across Asia, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India.

- Monitor supplier quality programs (CQS/SEP), ensuring Hallmark inspection audit rates support CQS/SEP maintenance requirements.

- Oversee finished product inspection activities ensure compliance with product specifications, FR & SR requirements as well as communicate quality issues to engineers and merchandisers for follow-up actions.

- Escalate factory issues (e.g., strikes, financial concerns) to management promptly.

- Own and maintain quality management systems and tools such as QIMAone or equivalent platforms as well as drive corrective or preventive actions through monitoring dashboards and reports.

- Oversee daily testing activities to ensure testing is completed as per FR protocol methods and test information is confirmed by US Headquarter PI. Ensure no quality issues arise.

- Act as a subject matter expert and consultant on quality, inspection, testing, packaging, and compliance topics for internal stakeholders including Product Integrity, Engineering, Merchandising, and Procurement teams.

- Maintain and improve quality-related procedures, guidelines, and SOPs including inspection manuals, testing guidelines, and virtual inspection requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial engineering, science, mechanical engineering, production engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field.

- Experience:

At least 5 years of quality assurance or quality control experience in printing products, gifts, or toys. Supervisory experience is an advantage.

+ Experience in working with the quality requirements of international retailers is an advantage.

- Knowledge: Product safety requirements, including ASTM and EN71 standards; Quality assurance management, statistical analysis

- Skills & Abilities:

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with managers, peers, and cross-functional partners.

+ Strong planning and organizational skills, with a professional, dependable, and self-directed approach to work.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese are required; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office skills

+ Independent, initiative, detail-oriented; strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to new ideas and feedback

- Other information:

+ Team size: This role will lead the Vietnam Quality Specialists and Quality Operation Planner. The team is based both in the North & South of VN.

+ Travel requirements: The position is expected to travel to different locations approximately every two weeks, depending on business needs.
