The Sourcing Specialist supports end-to-end sourcing activities within assigned product categories and serves as a key coordination point between overseas customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role ensures products meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements while proactively managing risks and identifying improvement opportunities.

Sourcing & Program Management

• Support and manage sourcing activities for assigned product categories.
• Ensure sourcing objectives for quality, cost, delivery, and compliance are achieved.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable suppliers and factories based on capability, capacity, and performance.
• Monitor production schedules and proactively address risks related to quality, cost, or delivery.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to supervisors and customers.
• Independently identify and propose cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering and testing teams to manage product testing and trials.
• Support corporate initiatives related to Lean manufacturing and Sustainability.

Supplier Performance Management

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of supplier capabilities, capacity, and performance.
• Work closely with quality and engineering teams to monitor supplier quality and implement improvement plans when needed.
• Ensure quotations, samples, and documentation are delivered on time to support decision-making.
• Support sourcing decisions based on supplier performance and production readiness.

Product Development Support

• Review quotations and understand product design intent.
• Propose alternative design or material solutions to achieve cost targets while maintaining quality and aesthetics.
• Support product development activities including price negotiation, packaging review, production process selection, and testing methods.
• Distribute and clarify product specifications to suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers.
• Support customer inquiries related to product sourcing, sampling, and delivery.
• Share insights on supplier capabilities, materials, manufacturing processes, and new product ideas.

Data & System Management

• Maintain organized documentation and project records.
• Update sourcing and production data in internal systems (e.g. PLM, SAP, PAVE) at job, PO, and contract levels.
• Track quotations, production schedules, and sourcing milestones accurately.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing or procurement (experience in print or 3D product categories is a strong advantage).
• Solid sourcing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Mandarin (Putonghua) is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
