Scope of the mission:

• Provide strategic guidance to the Finance function within the Branch and collaborate with various stakeholders,
• Design and implement an effective and efficient model that improves financial monitoring.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure a robust control environment to safeguard compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and company standards.
• Oversee all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting and budgeting.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and optimize liquidity, ensuring the Branch’s compliance with financial stability.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage and optimize the procurement process to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supplier relationships.
• Exercise keen judgment and take charge in resolving issues to deliver impactful outcomes.

People Management:

• Lead different departments of the Branch (Treasury, Accounting, Financial Planning Analysis, Procurement)
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to various Finance teams and foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Proven work experience of at least 10 years in the Banking and Financial Services Industry including experience in the Finance and Regulatory reporting function.
• Knowledge of financial products (Derivatives/FX/Loans etc), banking processes, and accounting including a good knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS reporting
• Prior work experience with software/applications such as VBA, MS Office suites or equivalent
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment with a proven ability to adapt and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• C2 Level in English and French.
