Main Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership 

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business goals to support sustainable growth and organizational development. 
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Board of Management on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational change. 
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen company culture, enhance employee engagement, and position Source of Asia as an employer of choice. 
  • Anticipate future HR trends and proactively propose solutions for workforce challenges. 


2. Recruitment 

  • Lead and manage the recruitment activities to ensure effective operations and high-quality recruitment cycle for internal departments & client service (if needed).
  • Supervise recruitment process.
  • Oversee all labor engagements, onboarding & offboarding process.


3. Compensation & Benefits 

  • Oversee payroll processes for both internal staff and clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Vietnamese regulations. 
  • Manage the implementation, payment, and renewal of employee benefits (annual salary increase, private healthcare, wedding/birth/funeral allowances, etc.). 
  • Develop and implement tools and policies to track and manage employee leave (annual, sick, etc.). 
  • Review and propose updates to compensation and benefits policies to improve employee satisfaction and retention. 
  • Review and approve monthly payrolls to ensure data accuracy. 


4.Employee Relations: 

  • Work with BUD and CM to resolve employees' issues pragmatically and in accordance with the Company's Internal Labor Regulations.
  • Investigate employee-relations issues and ensure human resources related decisions are consistent and fair 
  • Nurture a positive, energetic, and professional working environment.
  • Plan and facilitate all engagement activities such as company trip, company meetings, etc. and other internal employee motivation events/activities. 


5. Training & Development and Performance Management 

  • Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews directly with Business Unit Directors (BUD).
  • Design and implement internal training plans.
  • Track and evaluate training effectiveness. 


6. Budget & Report 

  • Participate in building up the annual budget for HR.
  • Monitor closely and manage well the budget, conduct analysis and forecast for the cost when required. 
  • Ensure all the internal & external reports are completed correctly and as per required deadlines (PIT, SI, Labor, etc.). 


7. Compliance 

  • Ensure programs and actions are in compliance with the Internal Labor Regulations, the Company policy and the Vietnamese labor law. 
  • Advise Board of Management about changes in labor law, government updating information. 
  • Identify the compliance gaps, propose action plan and ensure the implementation of the plan. 
  • Annually review the Internal Labor Regulations and Company Handbook, recommend amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor legislation. 
  • Liaise with all relevant Labor / Tax/ Social Insurance authorities for all related matters. 


8. HR Consulting 

  • Consult / Partner with Corporate Services Team to deliver HR services/ advice to clients (in terms of compensation, recruitment, HR compliance and practice).  
  • Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead the continuous improvement of HR process, HR policies, HR system and tools to fit with the company requirements and improve the effectiveness of the team. 
  • Provide suggestion, input and implement necessary changes in HR strategy, policies and processes according to the change of Vietnam Labor Code and Regulations.


9. Team Management 

  • Supervise the HR team's day-to-day work and activities. 
  • Make sure the team is motivated and ensure their efficiency in work delivery.
  • Coach, instruct and support the development of the team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields. 
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Well organized, proactive with positive attitude. 
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). 
  • Have good writing & reporting skill. 
  • Excellent written and verbal English. 
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations. 
  • Ability to interact, coordinate and work in collaboration with other BUs.
