Job Summary

The Physical Security Manager – Vietnam is responsible for end‑to‑end physical security operations across assigned facilities in Vietnam, with extended support to the APAC region. This role will lead site security programs, manage reception and guarding services, oversee vendors, ensure compliance with Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics, and take full ownership of security operations and incident management. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to independently drive security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Security Operations

• Own and manage all aspects of physical security operations across Vietnam sites, with support responsibilities for the wider APAC region.
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of physical security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, audits, and facility inspections.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in security controls, processes, and technologies.

Incident Management & Crisis Response

• Lead and manage all security incidents including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and incident closure.
• Coordinate incident response efforts in collaboration with cross‑functional teams such as HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, EHS, and Business Leaders.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and ensure timely escalation to regional leadership.
• Participate in crisis management planning, tabletop exercises, and business continuity activities.

Reception & Front Desk Management

• Manage reception and front‑of‑house staff, ensuring professional customer service and strong security posture.
• Define reception SOPs covering visitor management, access control processes, and emergency response.
• Train reception staff to align with Company’s culture, Code of Conduct, and security expectations.

Vendor & Guarding Management

• Manage security vendors including guarding services, reception staffing agencies, and security system providers.
• Oversee vendor performance, SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and cost controls.
• Lead vendor audits, quarterly reviews, and corrective action plans as required.
• Ensure all vendors comply with Company’s Code of Conduct, ethics, and security requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for physical security matters in Vietnam.
• Build strong working relationships with site leadership, regional security teams, Facilities, HR, Legal, IT, and external partners.
• Provide monthly security reports covering incidents, trends, KPIs, risks, and mitigation actions to the Regional Security Manager.
• Effectively communicate risks, recommendations, and security updates to senior stakeholders.

Governance, Ethics & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to Company’s Code of Conduct, ethics standards, and local legal/regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits related to physical security and compliance.
• Promote a strong security Company’s culture and ethical behavior across all sites and teams.

• Bachelor’s degree and Certification in security management are preferred
• 8–12+ years of experience in physical security operations, preferably within a multinational or technology company (Semiconductor experience is advantage).
• Proven experience managing multi sites security programs, vendors, reception/front desk teams, and guarding services.
• Strong hands‑on experience in incident management, investigations, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience supporting regional or multi‑country security operations within APAC is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High integrity with deep understanding of ethical conduct and compliance expectations.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead during incidents or crises.
• Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, visitor management systems, and physical security technologies.
• Willingness to support APAC time zones and occasional travel as required.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); Vietnamese language skills preferred.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.
