SOA Developers, a division of Source of Asia, collaborates with a French partner to operate two IT hubs in Vietnam, specializing in long-term IT outsourcing for European clients. Established in Hanoi (2018) with a strong 50+ tech team, we are now expanding to Ho Chi Minh City. Our expertise covers transportation, logistics, supply-chain, warehouse solutions and other domains, where we design, develop, and maintain custom software before transitioning full ownership to clients. 

We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester to join our Hanoi-based team working on a large-scale logistics platform serving European clients. This is not a "click and report" role, we need someone who thinks like an analyst, challenges assumptions, and actively contributes to building reliable software. You will be joining a highly customized platform with 3+ years of active development, meaning there is a vast amount of domain and technical knowledge to absorb quickly. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers across Vietnam and France to ensure our solutions meet the high standards our clients expect.

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to design comprehensive test strategies and test cases for complex logistics and warehouse workflows.
• Execute thorough manual testing across web and mobile platforms, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Proactively build and maintain deep knowledge of the platform's business logic, configuration specifics, and cross-module dependencies - become a domain reference for the team over time.
• Proactively identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and gaps in requirements before they become defects - act as the team's critical safety net.
• Document, track, and follow up on bugs with clear reproduction steps, severity assessments, and business impact analysis using project management tools (e.g., Jira and other internal tools).
• Collaborate with developers and BAs to clarify ambiguous requirements, challenge design decisions when needed, and advocate for the end user's perspective.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test documentation standards, and team testing practices.
• Active participation in brainstorming sessions and meetings and provide realistic effort estimates for testing activities.
• Leverage AI tools and workflows to enhance testing efficiency, test case generation, or defect analysis where applicable.

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience as a manual tester in software development projects (not combined dev/test roles).
• Proven experience testing complex business applications, logistics, supply chain, ERP, WMS, or similarly data-heavy domains preferred.
• Fast learner with high knowledge absorption capacity, you will need to ramp up quickly on a large, complex, highly customized system built over 3+ years. Expect to invest real effort understanding intricate business rules, workflows, and system behaviors across multiple modules.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical mindset, you question things, spot what others miss, and you're not afraid to push back on unclear requirements.
• Business-oriented approach, you understand why the software exists, not just what it does. You can think from the user's and client's perspective.
• Genuine curiosity, you dig deeper, explore beyond the happy path, and continuously look for ways to improve how things work.
• Solid experience with bug tracking and test management tools. 

Strong Plus:

• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in QA workflows (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, ChatGPT/ Claude for test data creation, exploratory testing augmentation).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia) or basic SQL for data verification.
• Familiarity with logistics/warehouse/transportation business processes.
• French language skills.
