GENERAL SUMMARY:

Key responsibilities:

- Provide chemical subject matter expertise to support new product development.

- Manage chemical focused suppliers, ensuring all source products comply with Company specifications and the safety requirements of the distribution market.

- Supervise laboratory operations, including oversight testing activities, equipment, lab technician to ensure accuracy & efficiency & compliance with established procedures. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate closely with Easton R&D, CASO engineering, to provide input throughout new product development process to ensure product launch on time without quality compliance issue. 

- Support trials, validation testing, analyzing results and recommending improvements or corrective actions prior to product launch.

- Conduct risk assessments related to chemical composition, process risk to develop mitigation plan & recommend effective quality control plan to factories. 

- Direct managing key suppliers who produce chemical products to ensure consistent supply, quality, compliance, and performance of sourced products. 

- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews covering quality systems, compliance, and technical capabilities.

- Lead structured problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement permanent corrective action in response to supplier quality issues.

- Ensure production test plan is well executed at assigned supplier. 

- Perform certain level of shipment inspection at supplier.

- Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure testing activities are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with internal procedures. Perform lab test as needed. 

- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated.

- Determine the compliance of raw materials, work-in-process, and/or finished goods to established component/product specifications. 

- Determine the appropriate test methods to confirm that sourced products perform as intended.

- Conclude lab test results to compare with specification.

- B.S. degree in chemical

- At least 7 years’ experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

- Good communication skill in both verbal & written, able to manage onsite communication with factory’s technical & leadership team.

- Frequent travel within country & oversea

- Knowledge of statistical methods

- Ability to interpret product specifications and drawings.

- Good written, oral and problem-solving abilities are required.

- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
